KATHLEEN WEST earned both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from Florida State University and is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia. She has had an outpatient private practice since 1989 and offers counseling for children, adolescents and adults.
Kathleen's areas of specialty include problems associated with divorce, parenting, geriatrics, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, drug and alcohol addictions, LGBTQ and spiritual issues, and in her 30+ years of practice she has experience with many other issues as well.
Kathleen speaks to community groups on various topics including parenting, stress and depression, healing and faith, and common emotional difficulties and topics. She is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers, the National Association of Social Workers and is a Master Addiction Counselor. Kathleen founded Jasper Counseling Associates in January 2003.
Away from the office, Kathleen has two adult children who stay busy with school and work. Kathleen is a real lover of animals, gardening and anything outdoors. She loves to spend time on her farm, which includes her favorite pastime -- riding and training horses.

DR. ANN PIKE is a licensed psychologist who specializes in helping adults, couples and families reach their emotional potential with her unique blend of counseling and clinical psychology expertise. Ann attained her doctoral degree in Counseling from the University of Georgia in 1985 and her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology in 1982 from Augusta College.
She has additional training in executive and professional coaching and Pesso-Boyden Psychomotor Psychotherapy. Areas of interest include family and marital communications, obesity/eating disorder issues, effective stress management skills and innovative treatments for anxiety and depression. Dr. Pike has been in private practice since 1986 and has offices in Jasper and Woodstock, Georgia. Prior to her work in private practice, she worked in inpatient psychiatric settings and was a member of a tri-county crisis management team in Northeast Atlanta. She is uniquely qualified to empower her clients to deal with a wide range of emotional issues.
In her spare time, Ann enjoys hiking and being in the woods watching wildlife from the porch of her North Georgia home. Listening to owls on a summer night is her favorite way to relax at home. She appreciates the tranquility and peace of nature and takes every opportunity to watch wildlife in their natural habitat. She is an avid reader and actively participates in several reading groups. She has an ongoing interest in creative writing and writes a monthly column in a regional newspaper, "Just for the Pleasure of It".
